Mute Swan (Cygnus olor) - Stare Down
Same crash landing mute swan, I remember the flapping of it’s wings… then the slow approach to my ornithology class… The lake was foggy; my professor assumed it was trying to warn us. I think it was just taking a peer at its surroundings.
Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) - CAMO

Lil House Finch hanging out on a stump near a sports field at some private school near Philly. I felt like shooting after a food truck shift. Area was too nice not too.
Trash Nest
Trash nest made by some bird comprised of what I told is erosion control… which could easily be replaced by native vegetation. This infuriates the naturalist in me. Why? Because plastic is profitable, that's why!
House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) - East40
A house Sparrow I spotted at the East 40 community garden in Bethlehem PA, small birds hang around sometimes here, since the people are peaceful.
