This one is comical to me because this Swan clearly dropped its wheels to slow… biomimicry?

Same crash landing mute swan, I remember the flapping of it’s wings… then the slow approach to my ornithology class… The lake was foggy; my professor assumed it was trying to warn us. I think it was just taking a peer at its surroundings.

Clearly a master of disguise… I don’t think it was by coincidence this mallard likes this area. This was taken on the side of the D&L trail right by Penn Pump Park in Palmer, PA.

Golden Hour with this Turkey Vulture gave it a reddish hue; leaving me in awe at this hideous being. I love them.

Trash nest made by some bird comprised of what I told is erosion control… which could easily be replaced by native vegetation. This infuriates the naturalist in me. Why? Because plastic is profitable, that's why!

Black Vultures near a friends house I used to room at, these would be outside frequently, in this creepy old tree… because well, the house was near a dump.
